I’m currently working on my debut novel Surrender to the Sound (the description below);
You can’t force people to read. But you sure can force them to listen to music. He knew it.
Quinta’s life constantly tests her resilience. A renowed publisher takes advantage of her writing, the society looks down upon her gender and ethnicity, her relationship must be kept a secret. Her already unstable position turns into chaos when an unwelcome stalker, the man of the shadows, steps into the daylight. He presents her with a once-in-a-lifetime job offer; a fortune in exchange for piano improvisations. Despite her lack of experience in the craft, the mystery man stands rather confident of her abilities. However, the man keeps the purpose of the partnership to himself. The only way out is through. Quinta sets off on a journey down the unexplored areas of her psyche, pushes the limits of her morality and discovers a whole new layer of the world.
Alas, the image of the saviour won’t stick to her new acquaintance for too long. Empathy becomes a burden. When all comes to light, justice must be served.
